This picture has been sitting, half-finished, in my Art folder for about 9months. This is one of those pictures where I really love the good points, and really loathe the bad points.

Things I hate about this image:
- paws, all of them.
- tail
- markings (tri and merle)
- eye(s)
- general body shape is messed up.

Things I like about this image:
- muzzle
- some of the fur highlights/shadows. (Incidentally, the original purpose of this image was to practise highlights/shadows on fur, and "face-on" shots).
- The background.

Oh wow! From the thumbnail, I thought it was a photo! -loves this- I really love the eye, captures the intensity of agility dogs perfectly ^.^ I think it'd look a little better if the tail feathers were a little more 'swept back', like the belly fur.

Yeah, the tail got a little messed up. It was supposed to look as though it was swinging around to counterbalance the movement of the body, but I screwed that up ;)

I actually really love the eyes- markings- and body shape. I think possibly the 'elbow' of the right leg (our right) seems a little big or far back, maybe throwing off the body, but I think you really cpatured that of an aussie, especially with that contrasted eye.
